Privacy Policy

Hayes Labs LLC, a limited liability company registered in Florida, operates hayeslabs.io. In this policy, “Hayes Labs,” “we,” and “us” mean Hayes Labs LLC. For questions or requests about this policy, email christian@hayeslabs.io.

We collect two kinds of information:

• Information you choose to send us. The project inquiry form on the Start a Project page asks for your name, email address, and a description of what you need. You can also add your organization, an existing website, the type of project, a budget range, and a timeline.
• Technical information about your visit. Like any website, this site’s hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page you requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We use your inquiry only to review your project, reply to you, and discuss working together. We do not add you to a mailing list or use your information for advertising. Technical information is used to run and secure the site and to prevent spam (section 5).

The website has no inquiry database. When you submit the form, our server sends two emails through Resend: a notification to our business inbox and a confirmation to you. The website itself does not save your inquiry.

Your information is still stored by the service providers that process it on our behalf:

• Google Workspace hosts our business inbox. Inquiry emails stay in the inbox until we delete them manually; there is no automatic deletion schedule.
• Resend sends both emails and keeps its own copy of them, with delivery records, for 30 days, stored in the United States.
• Vercel hosts the website and processes the technical information described in section 2 on servers in the United States. On our plan, Vercel keeps request logs for 30 days. The site does not write the contents of your inquiry into them.

These 30-day periods are Resend’s and Vercel’s own retention periods for their records. They do not apply to our inbox.

Only Hayes Labs uses your inquiry for business purposes. Inquiries are read and handled only by the owner of Hayes Labs, in our Google Workspace inbox. We do not forward them to collaborators or contractors, or copy them into a CRM, spreadsheet, or other business system. Google Workspace, Resend, and Vercel process your information on our behalf, to host our email, deliver our messages, and run the website.

To protect the form from spam and automated abuse, our server briefly uses limited technical information, such as your IP address and a coded identifier generated from your submission, to recognize automated or repeated submissions. This information is held only temporarily in the server’s memory. It is not stored in a database or written to logs.

The website does not set cookies or use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, and it does not load content from other companies’ servers. It stores one small, non-personal setting in your browser’s session storage, hl.intro, to remember that the opening animation has already played in that tab. The setting never leaves your browser and is cleared when you close the tab.

The website does not track visitors over time or across other websites, and it does not allow third parties to do so. It works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing christian@hayeslabs.io. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law. To protect your information, we may ask you to confirm a request from the email address you used for your inquiry.

We control the inquiry emails in our Google Workspace inbox and can delete them on request. Records kept by our service providers are retained and deleted under their own schedules: Resend’s email records and Vercel’s request logs follow the periods in section 4. Deleting an email from our inbox does not immediately remove every related provider record.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

We will update this policy when our practices change, and the date at the top will show when it was last updated.
